The NZD/CAD pair initially fell during the course of the day on Friday, but drove much higher and finally reached the 0.90 level, an area that we have been talking about for some time now.

During the session on Friday, the EUR/USD pair fell slightly as the jobs number out of America ended up adding 211,000 for last month.

The USD/JPY pair has gone back and forth over the last couple of weeks, and the Friday session of course was no different.

Gold prices advanced more than 2% on Friday to settle at their lowest level since November 11, helped by a softer dollar and hopes that the pace of interest rate increases in the U.S. would be slow and in small increments.

Gold prices settled higher on Thursday, recouping some of the recent losses, as the weakness in the dollar and equities markets lured some investors back into the market.

The EUR/USD had a remarkable session on Thursday, reaching over for handles at one point.

The USD/JPY pair fell significantly during the course of the day on Thursday, testing the 122 handle.

The GBP/AUD pair had a pretty volatile session during the day on Thursday, testing the 2.05 level for support.
