The WTI Crude Oil market initially tried to rally during the day on Wednesday, but cratered and broke below the $45 level. The natural gas markets initially tried to rally during the day on Monday, but ultimately the three dollars level above continues to be resistive.

Gold prices ended Wednesday’s session down $5.24 an ounce as the dollar climbed in the wake of an FOMC statement and Fed Chair Janet Yellen’s press conference.

The EUR had a volatile session during the Tuesday trading hours as the 1.12 level continues to be a magnet for price. The British pound bounced during the day on Tuesday, reaching towards the 1.2750 level, an area that was previously supportive.

The WTI Crude Oil markets continue to be very volatile, and I believe it’s only a matter of time before we finally break down. Natural gas markets initially tried to rally during the day on Tuesday, but then breakdown below the $3 handle.

The S&P 500 had a bullish session during the day on Tuesday, as we broke above the top of the hammer from the previous session. The NASDAQ 100 broke above the top of the hammer from the previous session on Tuesday, showing signs of strength as we continue to turn around technically.

The US dollar went back and forth against the Japanese yen during the day on Tuesday, hovering around the 110 handle. The Australian dollar went back and forth during the day on Tuesday, testing the 0.7550 level above.
