Copper

Copper initially fell during the trading session on Tuesday, but with falling rates, we've seen a bit of a bounce from the crucial 50-day EMA, an indicator that a lot of people, of course, will be watching.

And it's worth noting that quite frankly, the longer-term outlook for copper is very strong. The massive amount of demand for copper in comparison to the weak amount of supply, or at least the lower amount of supply, should continue to be a major factor here. After all, we have a supply and demand equation that's only going to get stronger over time with data centers and just the electrification of everything.

Long-Term Demand and Dynamic Support Bullish Outlook

So, I like copper. Copper's been in an uptrend for quite some time, although it's been messy as of late, but that's not too out of the norm either. Copper is treating the 50-day EMA as dynamic support. I suspect on any rally at this point in time, somewhere around $6.55, you'll probably see some noise, but I like this market a lot.

It is a good way to play growth, but it does have a little bit of an interest rate component to it as well. Rates falling does tend to help copper. It's not for the same reasons as gold and silver. It's more that the idea is that we are going to see more growth, more construction, more demand for just things in general, and copper, of course, falls in that purview.

If we break down below the 50-day EMA, I'm not going to short this market. I'll just look to buy it somewhere closer to maybe $6.10, or better yet, $6.00 if I get the opportunity.
